Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

The short version

If we take your money and cannot deliver the data, you are refunded automatically — you do not have to ask, and you do not have to wait for us to notice.

If the data was delivered but is not what you paid for, tell us through the order page within the window stated there, and we will look at the delivery records and decide. A bundle that has been delivered and used cannot be recalled from the network, so this is a judgement about whether the delivery was what you bought.

Refunds we make automatically

An order that fails is refunded as part of failing it, in one step. That means there is no window in which you have been charged for data that was never sent, and no need to chase us.

  • The order could not be delivered through any provider the vendor has connected.
  • The payment landed against an order we can no longer fulfil — for example an order that expired or was cancelled before the payment arrived. This one is flagged for a person to check and refund rather than resolved silently.
  • A dispute about a delivered order was decided in your favour.

Where the refund goes

A refund goes back the way the money came, which is the only way it can be reversed reliably.

If you paid from a wallet balance, the balance is credited back and is available to spend immediately. If you paid by card or bank transfer, the refund is returned through the same payment provider. That leg depends on the provider and on your bank, and typically takes a few working days to appear on your statement — we will show you the state of it rather than claim it has already arrived.

We do not credit a card payment to a wallet balance, because that would give you store credit while the money was still with the provider. If you would prefer a wallet credit in a particular case, ask us and we will arrange it explicitly.

Partial refunds

Where only part of an order was affected, we can refund part of it. A refund — full or partial — reduces the vendor's earnings for that order by the same proportion, so the platform and the vendor share the cost rather than one of them carrying it.

You cannot be refunded more than you paid. The order keeps a running total of what has been returned to you, and every further refund is capped by what remains.

How to ask

Open the order page — from your order history if you have an account, or from the tracking link if you checked out as a guest — and raise a dispute there, describing what went wrong.

The window to do so is stated on the order page. It is short by design: data is delivered within seconds, so a problem is normally obvious immediately, and a claim made long afterwards cannot be checked against the network's records. An order you neither dispute nor confirm within that window is treated as received.

If you cannot use the order page, contact us at support@mobiledatamart.ng with the order reference.

What we cannot refund

A bundle delivered to a number you entered incorrectly is treated as delivered, because the data has left the network and cannot be recalled. Please check the number before you confirm an order.

A dispute raised after the window on the order page has closed, where the delivery records show the bundle was delivered and no problem was reported in time.

If you think we got it wrong

A decision on a dispute is made by a person after reading the order's delivery records and the vendor's account of it, and we will tell you the reason for it. If you believe the decision was wrong, reply on the same order — the conversation stays attached to the order it is about.
