Who you are dealing with

Mobile Data Mart is a marketplace for mobile data bundles. The marketplace is operated by [OPERATOR: registered company name] (registration number [OPERATOR: company registration number]), of [OPERATOR: registered address].

When you buy a bundle, your contract of sale is with us — the platform — and not with the vendor who supplies the data. We are the merchant of record. This matters for two reasons: it is why your payment goes to us rather than to a vendor, and it is why a problem with a delivery is handled by us rather than left to you to settle with the vendor.

Vendors are independent businesses. They set their own prices, connect their own upstream provider accounts, and fund their own supply. We do not vouch for any vendor beyond what the platform records: the plans they have published, their delivery history on completed orders, and the ratings buyers have left them. Those records are shown to you so you can judge for yourself, and they are derived from real orders rather than asserted by the vendor.

Buying a bundle

You may buy as a guest, without an account, or as a registered buyer. A guest receives a single order-tracking link that is the only way to reach that order — keep it, because it is also the credential you use to rate the order or raise a dispute about it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the mobile number you enter. Data is delivered to that number, and a bundle delivered to a number you entered incorrectly is treated as delivered. We cannot recall data once it has been sent.

Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira and are the total you pay. The price you are quoted at checkout is the price that applies to your order; a later change to a vendor's pricing does not change an order you have already placed.

Payment

You can pay by card or bank transfer through our payment partners, or from a wallet balance if you have one. Card and transfer payments are confirmed by the payment provider's signed confirmation, which is what we treat as proof that your payment succeeded.

A wallet balance is credited when a top-up is confirmed and can be spent on bundles. It is not a bank deposit, it does not earn interest, and it can only be used to buy from this marketplace. See the refund policy for how a balance is returned to you.

  • Prices and fees are shown before you confirm an order.
  • We do not store your full card details; they are held by the payment provider.
  • A payment that lands against an order we can no longer fulfil is refunded.

Delivery

Delivery is usually within seconds, but it depends on the mobile network and on the vendor's upstream provider, neither of which we control. An order that cannot be delivered through any of a vendor's providers is failed and refunded automatically — you do not have to ask for it.

Where a provider's response is unclear — a timeout, a dropped connection — we do not retry blindly, because a second attempt could deliver the bundle twice or charge a vendor for data that was not sent. Those orders are checked against the provider before they are resolved, which can take a short while.

If something goes wrong

If an order is not delivered as you expected, you can dispute it from the order page or from your tracking link. You have a limited window after delivery to do so, because a bundle is delivered within seconds and a claim made long afterwards cannot be checked against the network's records. The exact window is stated on the order page itself.

You can also confirm receipt, which closes the dispute path immediately. You do not need to do anything for an order to be treated as received; confirming simply records it earlier.

A dispute is decided by our team after looking at the order's delivery records and hearing from the vendor. If it is decided in your favour, you are refunded. If it is decided against you, we will explain why.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, for abuse of the marketplace, or in breach of these terms. Where an account holds a wallet balance or a pending payout, we will settle what is properly owed before closing it.

Selling on the marketplace

Vendors are bound by these terms too, together with the vendor-specific obligations shown when you become a vendor. In outline: you must hold your own upstream provider account and keep it funded, you must publish plans you can actually supply, and you must not misrepresent what you are selling.

A vendor is paid for each delivered order, less the platform fee that applied to that sale. The fee is fixed for an order once it is placed. Earnings are held briefly before they become withdrawable so that a refund can be funded from them, and are then paid out to the bank account on file on request.

A vendor may not take a buyer's payment off-platform, and may not solicit a buyer to deal with them directly. Vendors never receive a buyer's account contact details — only the username on the order.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the marketplace available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, a network outage, or a provider failure can interrupt it. Where an interruption prevents a delivery we cannot make, the order is refunded.

We may change these terms. A change applies to orders placed after it is published, and the date at the top of this page is updated when it changes. The terms that applied to your order are the ones in force when you placed it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example lost profit or lost opportunity arising from a delivery that was late or failed.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Questions about these terms, or a complaint you cannot resolve through the order page, can be sent to support@mobiledatamart.ng.
